Welcome To The Community
LoudCity has a little bit of a community set up on their page for us, I've had the BlackList, for a while I had The BlackBoard (until spammers crippled it), but nowhere did I have one-stop shopping for the listeners.
With the addition of BlackLight Community, we can do it all in one space: photos, videos, mp3s, discussions, and on and on.
The coolest thing to me is, it's free and so far there don't seem to be any ads. I'm not quite sure how Ning is paying the bills on this... although I certainly understand what it's like to run in the red every month!
As long as they keep providing a good service with no pop-ups, I'm good with us making our home here. There's lots of flexibility ("widgits" are apparently very good and very popular) and lots of room to grow.
In my mind, radio ain't radio unless there's a human touch... so, touchie, touchie, touchie! Use this site up... and get in contact with me if you have suggestions, or just have a good joke to share.
Create an account, and get to postin'! (You can embed videos from YouTube, and if there's an interest in importing pictures from Flickr, let me know.)
